Dialogue on Death and Dying

Death is not what most people want to talk about. In this video, NewWest.tv journalist Susan Millar interviews two people who think that we should be talking about it. They are Michael Scales of the NewWest Hospice Society and MaryAnn Becher of Century House Association. They are two of the numerous people behind a weeklong program called Dialogue on Death and Dying. It's happening this first week of November. The program for the event doesn't look as dour and solemn as you might think, but it also doesn't look away from the pain of loss and grief, and the many issues that survivors need to deal with. The main thrust of the program is to get people to start talking about death.
