Zooming the Pandemic Episode 5 – “Family”
How are families doing when it comes to their kids, their relationships and the amount of time they had to spend at home during this pandemic? This episode talks with two mothers – one the parent of a teenager in her first year of high school and the other the mother of a five-year-old son.
The interviews explore schooling, the balance of work and parenting and the fears in the early days of the pandemic for these New Westminster mothers. It also looks briefly at how parents juggle their responsibilities to home and work when one of them finds themselves working at home for the first time, and hopes for the future.
